The Melbourne shuffle is a style of dance, which originated in the late 1980s in the Melbourne underground scene. The basic movements in the dance are a fast heel-and-toe action with a style suitable for various types of electronic music. Some variants incorporate arm movements source - wikipedia.org
Ah Beng is a term referring to young chinese males usually in malaysia and singapore. Ah Bengs are anti-intellectual, superficial, materialistic, and shallow. A typical common way to spot an Ah Beng is by looking at their "sports cars" ( mainly - proton wira, proton putra, "waja evolution", 'toyota' myvi, vios.. all with 'aeroplane wings' and jet engine loud engines which could only produce sound but not power.. ) which normally are extensively modified cars which portrays their "arrogance" on the road. Ah Bengs love to speed with their "sports car",due to watching Initial D as acted by Jay Chou in which is hailed as the Lord of the Ah Bengs in the ever growing Ah Beng community.Besides Ah Bengs like flashy, bright, complicated attires with "dog" chains hung all around them. - derived from wikipedia.org
Shuffling nowadays in Malaysia had been of total difference to the one in Melbourne, shuffles tend to wear flashy and multi-dog-chained pants. One of Malaysian shuffles favourite is by far the 360 degree cap turn. Which they think is cool. Worse still, they have totally no idea what others look at them as. Stomping the ground like nobody's business in an ecstatic fashion will seem like disabled people doing the cha-cha..
When these 2 elements comes together, catastrophy, disaster and mayhem happens. As u can see, ah bengs are getting into shuffling nowadays.. I'm anti-shuffling fyi.. If this continues, shuffling may earn a place as a new sport in the Paralympics which Ah Bengs are allowed to participate in..
